We are situated on the R328, just 15 km from Oudtshoorn on your
way to the Cango Caves. We are on the left side of the road.

The building was restored in
2003 when Christo & his wife Doret built 12 four star guestrooms next to the old building.
The "Old Mill" inside the restaurant, was in production for about a hundred years
and all the wheat from the Cango Valley was milled here. The Mill closed down in 1920 and for more than 80 years it
was used as a storage facility.
WE SPECIALISE IN VENISON DISHES
The restaurant is surrounded by mountains and a free flowing river, therefore it creates a relaxing yet
romantic atmosphere.
Wild game wanders around on the premises and can be touched or fed from the deck. Seun,
the Kudu, will come and look for some attention and bread, and Big Boy the Eland
is very jealous. Always want to chase Seun away to get all the attention.
The restaurant tenders for meals for private guests and tour groups over lunch and dinner.
Buffet or a la carte. For these people a farm stop is also a very special experience.
The rooms of our nearby lodge overlook the fields where animals
graze. To eat and to stay here in this very special environment is a great
privilege.

Our starters vary from Pan Fried Creamy Garlic Mussels
to Our famous Karoo Deli - Kudu & Vegetables skewered onto a stick
served with Sweet & Sour Sauce.

All main dishes are served with a
portion of salad, Vegetables in season and
a choice of Chips, Rice or Baked Potato.
